General note: While I like AUs as a rule, in the context of my prompts I prefer canon-adjacent settings, and I'm not looking for non-eunuch AUs (unless we’re talking cryptid DR, then anything goes). If someone wanted to attempt an AU in another period of Chinese history where Ding Rong and Wang Zhi are still palace eunuchs, I'd be super interested to see that, but I know that could be a big job!
